After a safety briefing, our crew will be handing you over the mountain bikes and biking kit (gloves and helmet). Before we start biking, you will have some time to practice and get used to your bike.

The Inca Jungle Tour:

Then we will begin the fun part of the Inca Jungle Trek, freewheeling down quiet but challenging roads. We will be passing through changing landscapes as we will be descending from the Andes to the tropical jungle.

We will be stopping in Alfamayo for a picnic lunch. It is about three hours from San Luis.

You will have some time to relax and unwind. After a quick change and a dab of insect repellant, we will be biking down the hill to Huamanmarca (3076m/10091ft). It is a recently discovered archaeological complex.

We will be giving you a detailed guided tour of the complex. You will witness the reminiscent of the Incas past here.

If you wish to participate in rafting, according to Peruvian law it is mandatory that you must know to swim.

If you don’t want to participate in the activity, you can simply stay back in the hostel. You can browse the internet, buy snacks or just rest your legs and enjoy a cold beer before savoring a traditional Peruvian dinner.

Had the most amazing 4 days in the Macchu Picchu region ! Everything was well organized so that we had nothing to worry about from the beginning to the end of the tour, and everything is included in the price ! Our guide Carlos was super nice, interesting, funny and motivating ! He is very experimented and knows everyone on the way to Machu Picchu which allowed us to have great degustations in the jungle ! The accommodation is quite basic but he arranged so that couples could stay together and friends could stay together too ! We met a lot of amazing people during those 4 days and couldn’t recommend more ! Competitive price for an amazing adventure.

This was the most memorable experience I had on my trip to South America. Each moment on this trip was very challenging in a positive manner. The biking part on the first day was typically interesting. All gears and equipments were provided by the agency and they were simply well maintained and were sturdy. This was indeed an experience of a lifetime.
